// A bit of a hack but it works// The article snippet is wrapped onto a second line, even when #article-sub is emptyif( $("div#article-sub").children().length == 0 ) {$("div#article-sub").remove();} Skysports.com understands Stoke City are looking to complete a shock double swoop on Middlesbrough with the signings of Robert Huth and Tuncay Sanli. Huth and Tuncay are two of Boro's most prized assets, but with combined wages believed to be in excess of £100,000-a-week - the Teesside club are keen to do a deal. Skysports.com revealed that Stoke were closing on Huth, who is now nearing a conclusion and will end a long chase for Tony Pulis.Pulis has been chasing at least one new central defender and the German has been top of his list of targets for a number of weeks. Stoke have now pressed home their interest following Huth's excellent start to the new season, which has seen him skipper Boro to four clean-sheets in their four Championship games. Skysports.com understands that Huth is on his way to the Potteries and will hold talks and undergo a medical on Thursday. Whilst Huth talks near conclusion, Stoke are also looking to bring in Tuncay - who has also attracted interest from Cologne and Birmingham in recent days. Pulis is a big fan of the hard-working Turkish international and Stoke are now looking into doing a deal with Boro for the 27-year-old. Cologne's interest in Tuncay is only on a loan basis although their assistant boss Umit Oozat is hopeful. "Tuncay wants to come over to Cologne and this would be a big boost," he told Express. "You could easily sell 50,000 strips with his name on."
