// A bit of a hack but it works// The article snippet is wrapped onto a second line, even when #article-sub is emptyif( $("div#article-sub").children().length == 0 ) {$("div#article-sub").remove();} Everton manager David Moyes has stated that he hopes to make at least four further signings before the end of the current transfer window. Moyes has struggled in the transfer market thus far but recently managed to secure the services of Russian winger Diniyar Bilyaletdinov. And now the Toffees will hope to use some of the funds they received from Joleon Lescott's big-money switch to Manchester City to bring in more new faces. The Scottish manager revealed that some negotiations have reached advanced stages and is hoping to unveil a new player in the very near future."I would be disappointed if we didn't get at least four, maybe more," Moyes told Everton's official website.Progress"We've made quite a bit of progress I feel and maybe I'll be able to announce something shortly, but not yet."The job is to try and make it (the squad) stronger every year and that's what we'll aim to do."Moyes' side, who have otherwise endured a poor start to the season, will take a 4-0 cushion into the second-leg of the Europa League qualifier with Czech outfit Sigma Olomouc on Thursday.Despite the huge deficit, Sigma coach Zdenek Psotka is hoping to rattle the visitors early and make life difficult throughout."We will try to do everything not to repeat the first match with Everton. We will have to be productive and score from our chances," he said."I believe that if we score at the beginning of the match we could make Everton a bit nervous and make Everton's way to the Europa League less simple."
