Futacs nets in Pompey victory

Marko Futacs and Greg Halford were on target as Portsmouth beat Russian side FC Rostov 2-0 in Wednesday night's charity friendly. The match was held to raise funds for the families of the Lokomotiv Yaroslavl ice hockey team, who were tragically killed in last month's air crash.Futacs broke the deadlock against the Russian Premier League side in the 74th minute when a clearance rebounded off the Hungarian striker and looped back into the net.And defender Halford headed the second into an empty net moments later to complete the victory in front of 4,348 fans at Fratton Park.Futacs, who recently joined Pompey from Werder Bremen, said: "I was very happy because it was the first time I had started a game in this stadium."It was perfect for me to score a goal in front of the fans, even though it was just in a friendly game."
