In the market: Everton boss David MoyesEverton have agreed a ?2million deal to sign 15-year-old Bradford midfielder George Green, who has been hailed as the next Gazza. David Moyes spent virtually nothing on transfer fees this summer but beaten a host of Barclays Premier league clubs to land Green. Tottenham were thought to be leading the race for Green, and Bayern Munich were also in the running. 'But George is the best I've seen in his position at his age. He could become another Wayne Rooney or Paul Gascoigne.' Everton's academy director Alan Irvine is looking forward to working with the teenager. 'George is a young player who was attracting interest from a number of clubs,' Irvine said. 'He has got good potential but at the moment that's all it is. He has got a lot of work to do and he knows that. We're happy to have him and we're looking forward to working with him here at the academy.'Meanwhile, Bradford want Charlton striker Paul Benson, 31, on loan.  Everton appeal Rodwell's controversial red card in Merseyside derby defeatCarroll's Liverpool career blasts off at last with precious derby strike against Everton Graham Poll: Despite Rodwell error, Atkinson was the right choice to referee the Merseyside derbyAll the latest Everton FC news, features and opinion
