Alan Pardew is trying to take the pressure off Davide Santon by saying he is still "acclimatising" to life in England after his move from Inter Milan. Alan Pardew: “It’s about him acclimatising and getting used to the Premier League. “This is a different ball game to Serie A. “The way we work defensively is different and I think I can help him on that and quickly. “He’s the Italian Under-21 captain, and people believe that he can be a very good player. “We are talking about a guy who has played at the top of Serie A. We’ve got a pedigree player on our hands.”
