Dropping Seven Points Is Hard To Stomach - O'Donovan

O'Donovan on dropping points Coventry City forward Roy O'Donovan has said that dropping seven points (three v Palace, two v Reading, two v Blackpool) is hard to stomach. Speaking to the CT's Andy Turner after Tuesday night's game, O'Donovan who started against Blackpool said: "When the fourth official put up six minutes of added time I feared the worst because of what happened at Palace. "We deserved more than a point from each of our last two games for our efforts but this is a ruthless league and everyone knows this. "But we played some good stuff and it was just at times we showed perhaps a little bit of naivety, conceding from a set peice when we should have been playing the game down by getting the ball up the pitch. "But we are a young side and there are a lot of positives to take from that performance and I think we are getting there. "One defeat in six is not a bad record but dropping seven points in the last seven games is hard to stomach. "I think the wins will come and we'll get on a run because we have good players who are hungry to do well and love playing for the club, so I think we will get there.   Picture copyright of Covsupport News Service.
