Hodgson challenges Riise

Fulham boss Roy Hodgson has challenged Bjorn Helge Riise to continue to work hard and force his way into the side. Riise, brother of Roma defender John Arne, signed a three-year contract with the Cottagers this summer after switching from Norwegian side Lillestrom for an undisclosed fee. He has featured as a late substitute twice against FK Vetra in the Europa League so far but not in Fulham's three games since. But Hodgson says the 26-year-old can expect to play many games for the club if he continues to work hard. The Fulham boss told Canal + that the player has been impressing in training, saying: "Given his position on the pitch he might actually face the toughest competition in the club. "It's not easy to break in to the starting XI, but I think he has had a great start here. "His time will come and I am looking forward to see him play many games here. "He must continue to do well in training and give me a headache when it comes to selecting the team."
