Penalty decision hits the spot for Warnock

Neil Warnock once again hit out at a match official after he felt Andy D'Urso turned down a clear penalty claim in his side's 2-0 home defeat to Newcastle. Fresh after last weekend's rant over the `goal' that was never given at Bristol City, Warnock pointed to a penalty claim early in the second half when Alan Smith felled Alassane N'Diaye, which was waved away by referee D'Urso. The Magpies were already two goals to the good at this point courtesy of Kevin Nolan's and Ryan Taylor's first goals for the club. "Smithy was all over Alassane and anywhere else on the pitch that's a foul, but that ref has never given me much over the years," said Warnock. "We never really gave ourselves a chance. "The goals were a disgrace at this level but you get punished by good players."
