The Moroccan frontman has been strongly linked with a switch to England during the transfer window, with Arsenal and West Ham leading the race for his signature. The Hammers were believed to be preparing a big-money approach as they look to bolster their threadbare attacking options.Chamakh has previously admitted that he would be open to a move to the Premier League, with his contract in France set to expire at the end of the 2009/10 campaign. However, no deal has materialised and Bordeaux boss Laurent Blanc now believes that the 25-year-old will remain at Stade Chaban Delmas."I'm not even going to ask myself that question because I think he is going to stay," he said when probed as to the possibility of Chamakh leaving."The situation is a lot clearer for the player than the media. It's a situation which gives you a lot to write and talk about. We don't listen to it. "Marouane wants to leave for a big club but sadly for him, that big club hasn't come in for him.""The biggest club that wishes to have him is this one, you know that better than me."
