Jack boot blow as midfielder's march halted

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has aggravated his ankle injury while in rehabilitation and will miss a further three weeks' action. Wilshere picked up his ankle problem against New York Red Bulls in a pre-season friendly and has subsequntly not featured since the end of July. The initial scan though, was encouraging and showed no broken bone.It did seem that after wearing a protective boot, the 19-year-old was on the road to recovery, as he was able to train without it and it was becoming a possibility that he may feature against Udinese in the club's Champions League play-off. However, the England international has aggravated it in training and boss Arsene Wenger has admitted that the midfielder will be out for a further three weeks. This now means he will miss four highly important games; Arsenal's trip to Italy, their Premier League fixture with Manchester United and two England Euro 2012 qualifiers against Wales and Bulgaria."I don't know if we are back to square one or for how long he will be out," said Wenger."He's in a boot again, so that means he will at least be out for two or three weeks."
