Gers secure Bedoya work permit

Rangers manager Ally McCoist has confirmed that the club has obtained a work permit for Alejandro Bedoya. The United States international has already agreed a pre-contract to arrive in January but the Scottish champions will now attempt to broker a deal with his club Orebro to recruit him immediately.McCoist also says Rangers are close to completing the capture of Australian Matt McKay from Brisbane Roar, with only a work permit now outstanding.The Ibrox boss admits that their attempts to sign Roland Juhasz are now all but over after failing to agree a fee with Anderlecht.But Aston Villa defender Carlos Cuellar is still a target and McCoist also refused to rule out the return of Danny Wilson on loan from Liverpool.
