Southampton have signed defender Danny Fox from Burnley for an undisclosed fee. The 25-year-old left-back has put pen to paper on a four-year contract at St Mary's and will be in the squad to face Barnsley on Saturday if he gets Football League clearance in time."I'm made up to be here and for a club as big as Southampton to be interested in me is very flattering," Fox told Saints' official website."As soon as I found out about the interest I spoke to Jack Cork, who was on loan at Burnley last year, and he couldn't speak highly enough of the club, the manager and the players."Boss Nigel Adkins added: "Danny is an experienced player having played in the Premier League and with Celtic and he's very talented."We have also got Dan Harding, who plays in his position, and Ryan Dickson, so we have got great competition for places."
