Henry eyes Champions League spot

iverpool owner John W Henry has confirmed the club's main aim this season is to finish in the top four and qualify for the Champions League. The Reds have not qualified for the Champions League since 2009, when they finished as runners-up to Manchester United. Now under the control of Henry's Fenway Sports Group, the club have brought Kenny Dalglish back as manager and have splashed out huge amounts in the last six months.Luis Suarez, Andy Carroll, Stewart Downing, Charlie Adam and Jordan Henderson have all arrived and Henry is expecting a top-four finish.Henry, who was speaking in Norway ahead of Liverpool's friendly with Valerenga, admitted the league title was probably not within their sights."It's too early for us to start talking about winning the league," said Henry to Dagbladet."In my opinion Manchester United are the ones to beat. They have a good squad, and look really good."Our main goal is to qualify for the Champions League. If we don't it would be a major disappointment."
