Cherries: Huddersfield in improved bid for Robinson

HUDDERSFIELD Town have made an improved bid for Cherries midfielder Anton Robinson, the Echo understands. The Terriers on Wednesday made an initial offer for the former Weymouth star, which was rejected by Seward Stadium chairman Eddie Mitchell. But Lee Clark's promotion chasers seem determined to get their man and have come back with a second bid to take Robinson to the Galpharm Stadium. It is likely a decision will be made on Robinson's future today, the Echo understands. The 25-year-old is out of contract next summer and has been unable to agree terms on a new deal in Dorset. Should Robinson opt to remain at Cherries, he would be able to talk to clubs in January and leave for nothing this time next year.
