Rodallega going nowhere - Whelan

Chairman Dave Whelan insists Wigan are determined hang on to Hugo Rodallega and the striker will be offered a new contract. The Colombia international, still on leave after the Copa America, is entering the final year of his current deal and that has put a number of clubs on alert. "We'll be talking to Hugo when he gets back from the Copa America," Whelan told the Wigan Evening Post. "As far as I know he's happy here. We'd like him to stay." With the Latics already resigned to losing Charles N'Zogbia - a £9.5million fee has already agreed with Aston Villa for the winger - the last thing Whelan wants is to lose another prized asset. "We've not had an offer in for Hugo, and I would imagine Roberto (Martinez) will be keen to get something sorted on that one," he added. "We do not want to be selling him, though - absolutely not."
