Juarez seeking Celtic stay

Efrain Juarez is hoping Neil Lennon will offer him a second chance to prove his worth at Celtic. The Mexican moved to Parkhead from Pumas for £3million last summer, with a productive 2010 World Cup suggesting he had the ability to shine in Scotland. He struggled to settle in the Scottish Premier League, though, and made just a handful of league starts for the Bhoys.Italian outfit Brescia came close to taking him on loan in January, and reports of an imminent exit have resurfaced since the summer transfer window opened.A return to his homeland has been touted, while Primera Liga side Real Zaragoza are also reported to be keen.Juarez, though, believes he can make a positive impression on Scottish football and has urged Lennon to offer him another opportunity to stake a claim for a regular role."I want to stay at Celtic if I can get more minutes on the park this season," he said."I report back to the club on Monday and I'll speak to the boss then."
