Inter: No Sneijder bids yet

Inter Milan technical director Marco Branca insists the Italian giants have not received any official offers for Wesley Sneijder. Manchester United have been strongly linked with a move for the 27-year-old, as have big-spending Spanish side Malaga, but Inter say they have not received any concrete bid for the playmaker who is under contract until June 2015.Branca said on the club's official website: "No, there has not been an official offer and there has never been the intention to listen to them."Hence, the player is getting on with his work and so are we. There are no updates."It's not surprising that Sneijder is a player that is liked by many teams, including the strongest in the world like our team is."He is not for sale."Branca also denied reports in the Italian press that a meeting was scheduled this week between Sneijder's agent and Inter."No, there are no meetings planned," he said. "We don't sell by force."Sneijder, who is in pre-season training with Inter, has stated several times this summer that he wants to remain in Milan. He joined from Real Madrid in 2009 and helped the Nerazzurri to a Champions League, Serie A and Coppa Italia treble in his first season.Inter hope to complete the signing of Brazilian full-back Jonathan from Santos later on Wednesday. The 25-year-old has a release clause set at 15million euros and is under contract with the South American giants for a further three seasons. When asked about Jonathan's possible arrival, Branca said: "We're working on the last few details and if everything gets sorted out - because with the time difference there are always a few hitches with getting signatures and sending documents via fax - then he may come up here [to Pinzolo] today."Jonathan won the Copa Libertadores with Santos just seven months after joining the club from Cruzeiro. He is considered a potential successor for Inter defender Maicon, who has been linked in recent months with a move to Real Madrid.Branca, meanwhile, denied reports Inter are keen to acquire Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Arturo Vidal. The 24-year-old has attracted the interest of both Juventus and Bayern Munich after his impressive performances for Leverkusen last season.Vidal, who is currently with Argentina in the Copa America, is under contract with Leverkusen for a further season."Vidal? He's not in our plans," Branca said.
