Keeping goalkeeping options open

Neil Lennon is still looking for his number one and has running his eye over Stipe Pletikosa Celtic have invited veteran goalkeeper Stipe Pletikosa to join the squad  on trial. The vastly experienced Croatian, who has won 82 caps, spent time last season with Spurs on loan from Spartak Moscow. This is not the first time Pletikosa has been considered as an option as he  was previously linked with a move to Parkhead in 2005, only for the deal to fall through when Artur Boruc was brought to Parkhead. Manager neil Lennon said: "We'll get a look at him for a week or two when we get back. He's an experienced guy and I spoke to Harry Redknapp through a third party and he was raving about him. He was tremendous for Spurs and he's had a good career. By all accounts he's a quality goalkeeper. We'll have a look when we get back. It might even need to wait until the week after the Hibs game. We'll have games in Cardiff, Swansea and Dublin so we might get a proper look at him then."
