Manchester United head to United States
Manchester United have left for their tour of the United States as Sir Alex Ferguson looks to build a new-look side following his summer spending spree.United will play five games in July, starting with a fixture against New England Revolution on Wednesday. Ferguson's side will also face an MLS All-Stars side which will include David Beckham, and Barcelona. And as our pictures show, United's top players have all been included in the tour party and will be aiming to impress the boss over the coming weeks. His teammates Ashley Young and Rio Ferdinand appear to me lending him morale support by sporting matching skinheads.Strikers Dimitar Berbatov, who looks set to remain at the club despite being dropped for the Champions League final, and Michael Owen, who signed a new one-year deal, will be hoping to prove their worth in pre-season.Manager Ferguson also appeared to be in a jovial mood; but that will surely change as soon as his side is the victim of a dodgy refereeing decision.
