Johnson urges Robins fans to get vocal

The Robins looked set to take all three points from their opening-day trip to Preston, but a controversial penalty decision saw the home side share the spoils.Johnson revealed he had spoken to referee Michael Oliver in the week, and still feels the home crowd were a factor in the award. He told the Evening Post: "We all saw during the Preston game how a vociferous crowd can, on occasions, influence a result."I spoke to the referee earlier in the week and I still believe he got it wrong. But when the crowd are crying for something to be given, it is only human nature."If our supporters do the same thing when we play at Ashton Gate, then these decisions may even out over the course of the season."
