Essien out for six months

Cruciate ligament puts pay to Bison's season till Christmas Michael Essien will be out of action until Christmas at the earliest after suffering a cruciate knee ligament injury in training. While the club are not revealing details of the setback for the midfielder, Chelsea-Mad believe the injury is so serious, that it could be career-threatening.
