Pars borrow Jason from Jambos

Hearts defender Jason Thomson has joined Scottish Premier League rivals Dunfermline on loan until January 1. The 25-year-old full-back has struggled to nail down a regular first-term berth at Tynecastle, so will join SPL newcomers Athletic."We have a lot of right-backs at the club," assistant boss Billy Brown told Hearts News."Jason has had a few injuries and is at the stage of his career when he needs to be playing regularly."He is a good professional, a smashing lad, but he does need to be playing regularly and we cannot guarantee him that at Hearts just now."Thomson is expected to be part of the Dunfermline squad that travels to Austria as part of their pre-season preparations.
