England international Lescott has been a summer-long target of City boss Mark Hughes, with Everton already turning down bids from the wealthy Eastlands outfit.Toffees boss David Moyes maintains the stance that the 26-year-old is not for sale, but City are expected to make a renewed approach.Lescott has also handed in a transfer request, which has been rejected by Everton, amidst the interest from City. Jagielka does not resent his team-mate for looking elsewhere, but is hopeful his colleague will remain at Goodison Park, telling Sky Sports News: "We all want him to stay. Crazy game"I think he knows he is a loved member of the squad. He is not (thinking about) moving because he doesn't like us or doesn't like the club."He just sees a possibility. He is a man to himself. Hopefully he'll stay and, if he does, we will be absolutely delighted."It is hard. Football is a crazy game, especially with Manchester City and the money they are throwing around and what they are looking to do - the possibility of breaking into the top four."Jagielka added: "It is hard to speak to Joleon about it because it is not an easy situation to be put in."You always think about, 'what would you do?' You can't even think. Unfortunately for Joleon, we haven't got any cover if he was to go."I am sure Joleon will be fine. He is a big boy and a great professional. If the move goes ahead or doesn't go ahead, we will be delighted to have him and I am sure he will put in some great performances."
