No Luck For McNiff

What a way to start a season Dumbarton midfielder Martin McNiff is a bit unlucky to say the least after tests have confirmed that did he break bones in his foot in his first pre-season training session last week. This means that he misses all the pre-season preparations and will be out of action for up to 5 weeks. Strathclyde Homes Stadium manager Alan Adamson said: "We had hoped that the news would not be so disappointing but we will have to start the season without Martin’s services. Hopefully he will be back pushing for a first team place before August is out."
