Blackpool's Charlie Adam saying all the right things, despite Liverpool interest

The 26-year-old was the subject of two failed bids by the Reds back in January. Seasiders chairman Karl Oyston dug his heels in over the fee as he hoped keeping hold of Adam would help secure the club's Barclays Premier League survival. With initial negotiations not providing a satisfactory outcome Adam is preparing to return to pre-season training next week. 'I go back to Blackpool on Monday and that's the way it is,' he told the Blackpool Gazette. 'Everybody knows the situation - the club have met with Liverpool but that's as far as it has gone. 'I had a conversation with the chairman but that will remain private.
