Killie Could be Priced Out Of Sissoko Deal

It all comes down to money and the value placed on a player has to matched by potential purchasers Mohamadou Sissoko would love to return to Rugby Park on a permanent basis but thinks that Udinese will ask too much for a deal to be agreed with Kilmarnock. The defender spent last season on loan at Kilmarnock and impressed in making 31 appearances for the SPL club. Udinese are willing to listen to offers for Sissoko over the summer. However, it has been reported that they will be looking for around £750,000. That sort of money may well be beyond Kilmarnock's budget and Sissoko is hoping a compromise can be agreed to allow him to return to Rugby Park.  Sissoko said: "I know Kilmarnock would like to keep me, but I'm not sure it is going to happen because my club are asking for a lot of money. I'd be interested in staying in Scotland. I'd like to look at all my options, but at the moment I can't do anything because of the fee. It's down to my club, but I doubt Kilmarnock would be able to pay that. I don't have any other offers, so I don't know where I'll be playing."
