Healy set for Rangers stay

Striker David Healy is set to sign a contract extension at Glasgow Rangers, despite an injury-interrupted campaign last season. The Northern Ireland international enjoyed an injury-hit spell at Ibrox but has done enough to earn a new deal under boss Ally McCoist.A statement on the club's official website read: "It is expected that paperwork will be completed this afternoon."Uncertainty remains, however, over the future of Gers captain David Weir. The 41-year-old defender is out of contract this summer and is still waiting to discover if he is part of McCoist's plans for next term.Coach Ian Durrant admitted he hopes Weir would remain at Ibrox, saying: "Davie is a great person around the dressing room and has been our leader for the last four years."Hopefully he and the boss can come to an agreement."
