irmingham have approached Hibernian for permission to speak to Colin Calderwood, according to reports. New St Andrew's boss Chris Hughton is understood to want the Scot as his No 2 in an attempt to recreate the successful working relationship which helped secure Newcastle the 2009/10 Championship title.Sky Sports News reported on Monday that Calderwood was considering the move and Birmingham now want to hold talks.The 46-year-old left Newcastle to become Hibernian boss in October and was previously in charge at Northampton and Nottingham Forest.Calderwood has also been linked with a return to Forest, where he could become an assistant to former England manager Steve McClaren.
