Novo injury blow for Rangers

The Spaniard underwent scans on Wednesday following a training accident last Friday and the initial prognosis was proved correct.Novo will see a specialist next week in a bid to find a course of treatment that will enable him to return to action as soon as possible.But the 30-year-old, who scored in the 3-2 friendly win over Manchester City just over a week ago, is definitely out until at least next month.The news is a blow to manager Walter Smith as Kyle Lafferty is suspended for the first three SPL matches of the season - Falkirk on Saturday, Hearts on August 23 and Hamilton on August 29.Kenny Miller, Kris Boyd and Steven Naismith are all set to feature this weekend.
