Lassana Diarra set to snub Manchester United and Tottenham

Share Staying put: The former Chelsea midfielder is happy at Real Madrid Lassana Diarra's agent insists the midfielder is happy at Real Madrid and has no intention of leaving the Primera Division club despite interest from clubs across Europe. The France international moved to the Bernabeu in January 2009 from then Premier League side Portsmouth and had initial success. However, the 26-year-old struggled to hold down a starting spot last season under Jose Mourinho and has been constantly linked with a move away. Premier League pair Manchester United and Tottenham as well as Serie A side Juventus have all been linked with the player, but his agent John Williams has dismissed speculation Diarra will quit Real this summer. He told French magazine Le 10 Sport: 'Contrary to what is being said, Lass does not want to leave Real Madrid. 'He has two years left on his contract and is feeling well in Madrid. 'I have not opened negotiations with any club in either England or Italy, but if there is a great offer then we'll study it.'  The Insider: Varane heading to Man United, Tottenham eye Diarra and Crainey considering optionsReal's Diarra wants out of Spain as United and Liverpool prepare bidsThe Insider: Diarra stuck in the middle at Madrid as Spurs keep an eye and Fulham close in on Wright-Phillips Explore more:People: John Williams, Lassana Diarra Places: Madrid, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Europe
