PNE to host Latics friendly
Preston North End will host neighbours Wigan in a pre-season friendly at Deepdale on Sunday, July 31. Phil Brown's men are bidding to make an immediate return to the Championship after relegation last term and the clash with Wigan comes just six days before the season-opener at home to Colchester.The testing encounter against Roberto Martinez's will kick-off at 3pm.
