Pearson predicts tough season
Hull City's director of football operations Adam Pearson believes the coming season in the Championship will be tougher than ever. The Tigers missed out on the play-offs last term after two years in the top flight and will now aim to make a more concerted challenge.Yet Pearson warned: "There are so many ex-Premier League teams in the Championship that it's going to be tough."Last season there were opportunities for teams who don't have the benefit of parachute payments to get into the play-offs."That might not necessarily be the case this season."
