Pulis predicts busy summer

Stoke manager Tony Pulis believes the big-money moves already made this summer will spark feverish activity in the transfer market. Blackburn and Sunderland have each boosted their coffers by around £20million with Rovers selling Phil Jones to Manchester United while Darius Henderson has been lured to Liverpool. The only activity at Stoke has seen Abdoulaye Faye and Eidur Gudjohnsen leave the Britannia Stadium after being released by Pulis. But the Potters' boss reckons there could be some bids coming in as Blackburn and Sunderland look to re-invest."It's going to be an active market and an expensive market this year," Pulis said."The top six clubs are all looking to spend. That always filters through."Sunderland have sold big, Blackburn have sold big, and there will be other clubs who will have a little bit of money in their pockets to go out and buy players."I expect it to be a very difficult market but a market where there will be a lot of movement."
