Gers press on with Danns chase

Rangers boss Ally McCoist admits he remains "very keen" to sign Crystal Palace midfielder Neil Danns, who has also been linked with Fulham. The Scottish champions have failed in their bid to sign Israel international Tomer Hemed, according to the player's agent. With Hemed opting out of a deal, Rangers could now turn their attention to Danns, with McCoist a confirmed admirer of the midfielder."As regards Neil, our head of football administration, Andrew Dickson, has spoken to his representative and we are keen, very keen," McCoist told the club's website."That's one we are pursuing further as well. He's a player we are keen on."Fulham are also reported to be monitoring Danns, who is available on a free transfer this summer.
