Michael Mancienne plots Europe mission after signing for Hamburg
ShareMichael Mancienne wants to help Hamburg back into Europe after signing a four-year deal with the German side on Tuesday night.The 23-year-old defender moves to the Imtech Arena after a long association with Chelsea, although he is better known for this three loan spells with Wolves.He made just six senior appearances for the Blues and will move to the Bundesliga when he returns from England duty at this year`s Under-21 European Championships. Limited chances: Michael Mancienne made just six appearances for Chelsea but will now move to Bundesliga Hamburg finished eighth in the Bundesliga this season, and Mancienne has outlined his ambition to get them back into Europe as soon as possible.Loan star: Mancienne played for Wolves three timesHe said: 'Hamburg are a big club with a lot of tradition and some fantastic fans.
