Van Persie wary of Hoops test

Arsenal forward Robin van Persie is anticipating a 'difficult' UEFA Champions League clash against SPL club Celtic. Van Persie is currently on international duty with Holland ahead of their friendly versus England, but is aware of the test that awaits Arsenal next Tuesday. The Gunners have been drawn against Tony Mowbray's Celtic in the Champions League play-off round. Van Persie is ready for a fierce battle versus the Hoops, who could involve the striker's Dutch compatriot Glenn Loovens. He said in the Daily Record: "Let's just say there have been a few text messages (with Glenn Loovens) flying back and forward. "We've been teasing each other. We were in contact after the draw was made and it's going to be difficult. "We played against each other in the FA Cup when Glenn was at Cardiff City and thankfully I won on that occasion. "But talk of the Champions League qualifier is for after international duty. Friendly games are important for us and we play England. "Almost all the players in both squads are with big teams so it's going to be a very interesting game. "I don't think there will be many surprises as we are all very familiar with each other and our qualities but it should be an interesting spectacle."
