Harewood struggling for Tykes

Barnsley striker Marlon Harewood is a major doubt for the South Yorkshire derby clash with Sheffield United. Harewood, on loan from Blackpool, sustained a hamstring injury in last Saturday's defeat at Watford and missed Monday's home draw with Doncaster. Tykes manager Mark Robins said: "We're just going to monitor that over the next 24 hours. He's gone back to Blackpool for assessment and if he's not fit [on Friday] we can count him out." Teenager Reuben Noble-Lazarus stepped in for Harewood on Monday, while fellow teenagers Jordan Clark and Danny Rose will be hoping to build on their late substitute appearances. Robins, whose side require three more points to beat last season's tally of 54, has no other new injury or suspension problems, but defender Luke Potter remains sidelined with a knee problem that has kept him out since November.
