Butcher wants Doran for next season

Inverness manager Terry Butcher will attempt to re-sign Blackburn winger Aaron Doran next season. The teenager took his tally to three goals from eight starts since signing on loan in January when he curled a glorious shot into the top corner in the 3-0 victory over St Johnstone on last night. Doran, 19, is still under contract at Rovers next season but he has also been loaned to MK Dons and Leyton Orient and Butcher hopes the Barclays Premier League club will recognise the improvement he has made in the Highlands. Butcher said: "I would like to get him back here because he is a great, bubbly character, a funny boy, but a good player as well. "He`ll work hard and play on either flank. He has definitely improved since being with us. "The goal he got at Perth was a great goal. So Blackburn will be happy with that but there are players like that we would like to bring up because they certainly help the squad and lift the squad as well."
