Arsenal forward Robin van Persie hails Patrick Vieira

ROBIN van Persie has hailed Patrick Vieira as the real captain fantastic amidst reports that the former Gunners skipper is set for a return to north London.Vieira is almost certain to leave Inter Milan this summer and had been mooted for a move to Arsenal?s nearest rivals Spurs, with Harry Redknapp revealing he would be interested in signing the France international.But in a shock transfer twist, Arsene Wenger is rumoured to be lining up a move for Vieira, who left the Gunners for Juventus in 2005. The midfielder?s name was chanted by Arsenal fans throughout last weekend?s Emirates Cup, while Wenger only added more fuel to the fire by refusing to rule out a move for the 33-year-old.And van Persie, who was speaking at the launch of Arsenal?s charity of the year, the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children?s Charity, was quick to hail Vieira?s qualities. The Arsenal forward said: ?I played with him for one year and he was fantastic. He is a natural leader and he was really helpful to me. ?If we go back to my first start in the Premier League, I was very nervous before the game and he came up and asked me how I was.?He told me to just play how I train and that he will always be there to help me.
