Welbeck forms part of unchanged Sunderland team

DANNY WELBCK has shrugged off a hamstring problem and has been included in Sunderland's unchanged starting line-up against Wigan Athletic. There had been doubts about the striker's fitness after being forced off during last weekend's defeat at Birmingham City, but he partners Asamoah Gyan this afternoon. Sunderland manager Steve Bruce knows all about the importance of this fixture, with four points separating the Black Cats with the ourth from bottom Latics. There is a place on the bench for young midfielder David Meyler, while former Newcastle winger and Bruce target Charles N'Zogbia starts for Wigan.SUNDERLAND (4-4-2): Mignolet; Elmohamady, Onuoha, Turner, Bardsley; Henderson, Cattermole, Colback, Sessegnon; Welbeck, Gyan.
