Michael Owen hits back at Newcastle boo-boys on Twitter
Michael Owen has admitted he was disappointed with the reaction he received from Newcastle supporters on his return to St James' Park.The Manchester United striker was roundly jeered by fans of his former club when he came on as a 81st minute substitute replacing Nani in Wednesday night's 0-0 Barclays Premier League draw.The 31-year-old spent four years on Tyneside before he left on a free transfer to Old Trafford in 2009.
