Henderson shoots into reckoning

Ian Henderson could be named in the Colchester starting line-up for the trip to Carlisle. The striker climbed off the bench to score the only goal in last weekend's win over Rochdale to keep the Us' faint play-off hopes alive. John-Joe O'Toole got through his first 90 minutes in a year against Dale after a cruciate injury and is set to keep his place with fellow midfielder David Perkins still sidelined with a hamstring injury. Centre-halves Magnus Okuonghae and Pat Baldwin remain long-term absentees. Okuonghae is out for the season following ankle surgery while Baldwin is not yet ready to return from an Achilles problem. The Us lie seven points outside the play-off spots with five matches remaining.
