Sheri tips Spireites to hit back

Manager John Sheridan is confident Chesterfield will bounce back from their surprise defeat to Hereford. The runaway league leaders were stopped in their tracks by a 3-0 loss on Saturday. However, after the 2-0 home defeat against Morecambe at the end of February Sheridan's men hammered second-placed Wycombe 4-1, while a 2-0 reverse at Crewe was then followed by a 5-0 drubbing of local rivals Rotherham. Ahead of the visit of Macclesfield at the weekend, Sheridan said: "Usually we've responded well after a defeat, so I'm not getting too down. "It was a bad day at the office and hopefully we can get the points on Saturday."
