Vedran Corluka clash Tottenham beat Stoke

A week after Wayne Rooney's foul-mouthed outburst on live television halted the FA'sRespect campaign in its tracks, Spurs defender Vedran Corluka was involved in a furious bust-up with his own fans at White Hart Lane.The Croatian had to be dragged away from the confrontation by assistant manager Kevin Bond at the final whistle.He said: 'I told one supporter he was an idiot. He was moaning during the match when he should have been supporting the team. I told him to support instead of criticising. But Kevin did not calm me down, I didn't need calming down.' 'I don't think he has that in him,' he said. 'I think he was going to take a pop at the fan in Croatian. He will thank me later for calming him down.'
