Ipswich bid for Hull's Jimmy Bullard

Ipswich have launched a bid to clinch a permanent deal for on-loan Hull star Jimmy Bullard. The 32-year-old midfielder has been a huge success at Portman Road, scoring four goals in 11 appearances to help lift the Tractor Boys clear of the Championship relegation zone. But boss Paul Jewell admitted Bullard's ?45,000-a-week contract with the Tigers, which still has two years to run, could prove a major stumbling block.
