Holloway calls for mental strength

Blackpool boss Ian Holloway called on his players to be mentally strong after their poor run continued with a 3-0 defeat at Fulham The Tangerines are deep in relegation trouble and languish in 17th spot, with just a point separating them from the drop zone, after they were comfortably beaten at Craven Cottage. Holloway said: "Maybe that run-in we had last year has taken its toll on the likes of Charlie [Adam] and [David] Vaughan. "But mentally we have got to be strong and that is what I will be looking at. "I'll be showing them how well they've done, how well they can do and even today (Sunday) look at the possession, which I thought we were terrific at times. "But it's all good having a dance around but you need to knock them out and we didn't really look like that."
