Man United Liverpool tracking Porto's Rolando

Liverpool and Manchester United have been encouraged to follow up their interest in Porto defender Rolando after the club cut their asking price. The 25-year-old Portugual international was valued at around ?25m last summer but his agent Peppino Tirri says he could be bought in the next window for around ?13.5m. In demand: Rolando (right) is wanted by a number of clubs Inter Milan and Juventus have also registered interest but Tirri said: 'There is also Manchester United and Liverpool following the player. I think something could move towards the end of the month, now the clubs are focused on the championship and the Champions League. His cost? Around ?13.5m.'
