Stuart Regan is unfit for purpose: He must resign.

Chief Executive of SFA has had a turbulent first season, He shouldn't see a second. So far, in his eight months in charge he has presided over: 1. An officials strike, seeing foreign refs brought in for the first time in over a century. 2. His head of refereeing development and one of his top whistlers booted out. 3. The farcical confession today that the SFA disciplinary procedures and its interpretation of their own rules is "legally unenforceable." Once again, Scottish football is a laughing-stock. Dallas and McDonald didn't get a second chance. The fact Celtic's resident QC, Paul McBride, found time today to praise Regan tells its own story. Today's humiliation is a step too far for the governing body: Regan must go to effect real change.
