Still: We were the better team

Dagenham manager John Still was proud of his side`s efforts despite watching them slip to a 1-0 defeat at Brighton. Seagulls striker Glenn Murray netted the only goal of the game in the 59th minute, but it could have been a different story if Bas Savage, Jon Nurse, Danny Green or Damian Scannell had taken earlier chances for the Daggers. Still, who has seen his side climb out of the relegation zone in recent weeks, said: "I think it was one of those games where you say the best team didn't win. "I thought we were the best team. They scored a good goal from probably their only chance, where we had three or four. "All our boys thought we had scored a goal in the first half, it went in and came out, but it's down to the linesman, he hasn't given it, but our performance was first class. "Our form is good, we've played the team that's top of the league and I think we were the better side. I can't ask for more from the players and we need to just carry that on now."
