Alexander pleased with a point

The woodwork twice denied the Silkmen in the first half while both sides had chances to win it late on."I'm delighted to get a point, it took us six games to get one last season," said Town boss Alexander."We passed the ball well but didn't have the cutting edge although we could have won it late on. I was delighted with some of our play, we were a bit unlucky but you've got to score."We made a lot of changes in the summer but the new players have fitted in well."This was a difficult place to come. Northampton and Notts County are two very hard games so early in the season. It's very early but we've got a better squad this time."
